Survey says paving roads top priority for many residents in North Grenville

Many North Grenville residents believe spending $1.5 million on paving roads is the most important priority in the municipality.

The top five and bottom five priorities voted on by residents in the pre-budget survey were featured at Monday’s Committee of the Whole meeting. Reconstruction of County Road 43 to four lanes came in second.

Out of all the priorities listed in the survey, the construction of a pedestrian bridge between Clothier Street and Riverside Park, as well as the gravel reconstruction of Tompkins Road came in as the least important.

Members of Council will now use the results to help them decide where to allocate money during budget deliberations over the coming months.
