The Municipality of North Grenville has adopted an updated Emergency Management Program.
According to provincial law, every municipality has to have a program that adheres to fifteen different elements. Director of Emergency and Protective Services Paul Hutt says one of those elements is to designate members of an Emergency Management Program Committee.
Emergency and Protective Services has been working on the draft of the new program throughout 2016.
