Beth Donovan Hospice hoping for a building permit fee break from municipality

It looks like the Beth Donovan Hospice will get a break on building permit fees for its renovation project. The final decision will come to North Grenville Council on Monday, though Committee of the Whole voted to recommend waiving the fees earlier this week. The estimate on the fees is about $2,100. Hospice Chair Sue Walker was on hand to explain how the first two phases will affect staff and clients.

The third phase of the project is to convince the Champlain LHIN and province to fund residential beds at the hospice.
