The Friends of the Ferguson Forest Centre holds its Annual General Meeting on Thursday. The event happens at the library starting at 7:00pm.
The guest speaker will be Scott Danford from the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority. Friends of the Ferguson Forest Centre Chair Liza Duhaime says the RVCA has jurisdiction in this area and they thought it would be a good presentation for the AGM.
Duhaime also hopes to see more volunteers become actively involved in the organization.
Duhaime says the election of directors will take place at the AGM and there will also be a chair’s report. People can also renew their membership, or can join up if they aren’t already a part of the organization.
