The St. John Ambulance got more bang for their buck than they were expecting from their Casino and Cocktail Night Fundraiser.
The organization was hoping to raise $50,000 dollars from the inaugural event, but has recently announced that the night brought in greater margins than expected, collecting over $58,200 dollars.
The funds raised will go towards helping the organization expand into Lanark County.
Over the past three years, St John Ambulance has raised $240,000 dollars.
