North Grenville Council says the higher Hydro One distribution charges for rural residents is unfair. Council passed a resolution at Monday night’s meeting supporting a County of Grey resolution that requests the province re-evaluate the structure of hydro in terms of delivery. During the meeting, Mayor David Gordon put it more bluntly.
The resolution passed by the County of Grey and supported by North Grenville Council also asks the province to implement structural changes to deal with the unfair practice of charging more for delivery to rural residents.
