Spencerville Mill asking residents to come plant tulips this Friday and Saturday

The Spencerville Mill needs your help to plant tulips. The mill recently received 1,000 tulips to plant through the Canada 150th Celebration Garden sponsored by Via Rail, Vesey’s Gardens and the Canadian Garden Council. Spencerville Mill Foundation Marketing Director Sandra Ketchum says part of the grant includes the requirement to hold a community bulb planting event.

The planting event takes place this Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:00pm. Everyone’s invited. Bring your trowel. There will also be a celebration in the spring when the tulips flower.
