United Counties and Brockville Business up for awards at Ontario Tourism Summit

Brockville’s Island Breakfast has been recognized with a nomination for the Ontario Culinary Tourism Event of the Year. Every year for four days in June, Island Breakfast hosts over 1500 tourists on Refugee Island. 60 Volunteers also dedicate their time to prepare locally made breakfasts and food items. Tourists from as far as Europe and Asia have been know to flock to the event. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is also being recognized with a nomination for the Tourism Marketing Campaign Award Under $25,000. The Ontario Tourism Summit is being held in Ottawa November 21st and 22nd is where the winners of both awards will be announced.
