The Arboretum will get some TLC after a $10,000 donation was received by the Municipality to put towards the area. A local individual donated the money to be used specifically for the Arboretum at the Ferguson Forest Centre. Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Mark Guy says the Municipality of North Grenville will partner with the Ferguson Forest Centre, to make the centre’s plans for the area come to fruition.
The project is expected to begin this fall and should take about a year.
