A facelift could be coming to parts of Old Town Kemptville. The municipality is looking at opening up funding to the area through the Community Improvement Plan. Right now, the program covers the Rideau Sanders Triangle. The expansion would allow funds to be used to improve residential and commercial properties within Old Town Kemptville. Currently, the Community Improvement Plan budget is $20,000 a year. The budget is used to cover up to a third of costs for approved projects. Staff has proposed an increase to the budget to help cover more projects.
