A crew of six firefighters from North Grenville have helped battle a forest fire north of Mallorytown. The crew was on the scene helping through mutual aid Tuesday. Yesterday, dozens of firefighters were still involved in monitoring hot spots. A total of ten departments were involved in fighting the stubborn fire. It’s believed the fire started because of a lightning strike on Friday.
