A large sinkhole has appeared at Rideau and Sussex, due to a broken watermain. Traffic is being rerouted. Witnesses say they can see smoke emerging from the sinkhole and police confirm there is a gas leak. The Rideau Centre has been evacuated. No injuries have been reported at this time; traffic detours are in place.
