Mississippi Mills councilor and other man dead in shooting, third victim fighting for her life

A shooting in Almonte has left a Mississippi Mills councilor and one other man dead. A woman is fighting for her life in hospital. Around 7:30am yesterday, Lanark County OPP were called to a residence in the community, where they reportedly found 65-year-old Bernard Cameron dead at the scene. His 28-year-old daughter Sarah was reportedly taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries, where she remains in stable condition. A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. The mayor is calling it “a domestic gone bad.”The OPP Crime Unit is investigating.
