The Kemptville 73s have two teams on the ice this year. As General Manager Terry Nichols explains, the new midget team has a bright future.
Nichols says the 73s midgets are 15 to 17 years old, and they are all from the Ottawa area.
The Kemptville 73s are in full training mode for both their midget and Junior A teams. General Manager Terry Nichols says they have billet homes for each player but they can always use a backup.

The 73s won their August 23 exhibition game against the Smiths Falls Bears, 3-0. The next exhibition game is Wednesday, August 26 starting around 8:15pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, against the Brockville Braves.
