At North Grenville Municipal Council Monday, staff advised that TD Graham & Associates in partnership with Probase Web will create the new Municipal website. Work has begun and staff hopes to have the website running before the end of the year. The review team awarded the project at a cost of $35,380. An annual fee of $2,700 will come into effect after the first year for maintenance and hosting costs.
Also approved was the use of a new meeting management system that will reduce the amount of paper and ink required at meetings. That project was awarded to eScribe for $11,800 with an annual fee of $6,800 in the second and third year of a three year contract.
The North Grenville Curling Club will get a new Evap-Condenser to continue operations in September of this year. The current equipment is at the end of its useful life and needs replacing. Council approved the purchase of the new equipment with the money coming from the Curling Club Capital Reserve Account.
