If you hear bells Wednesday morning it’s because it’s the 90th birthday of the United Church of Canada and they feel like celebrating. 10:30am has been chosen across all time zones because the first United Church service in Canada happened on June 10, 1925 at that time. The bells will be rung in communities across Canada at this moment, to recognize the anniversary. There are 3,000 United Church congregations in Canada, including St. John’s United on Prescott Street in Kemptville.
