An 18-year-old woman from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and a 16-year-old from Brockville are facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Prescott last week. On Thursday, June 4 just before 4:30pm, police noticed the driver of a 2004 Hyundai texting while driving on Edward Street. They stopped the car and noticed small amounts of marijuana inside. A deeper search revealed more marijuana, MDMA (Ecstasy), cocaine and drug accessories.
