Margaret Andrade has announced that she is seeking the NDP nomination in Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes for the upcoming Federal election. Andrade says she is seeking to bring a fresh, strong voice that has been lacking in the riding.
Andrade says to raise this riding out of economic depression requires the will to create a diverse economy. She says we have untapped talents and can prosper with creativity and unity.
She was previously elected as a municipal councilor in Millet, Alberta. The Brockville wife and mother of two has been a long-time Liberal and after much research is now convinced that the NDP represents the best option for the riding and the country.
