A 21-year-old North Dundas man was behind bars for a few days after an assault last week. On Wednesday, May 29 around 10:40 in the morning Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP officers responded to a disturbance at a home on Moffatt Street in Morewood. Investigation showed a man was being disruptive. When arrested, the man assaulted police officers. The accused is facing 3 counts of assaulting a peace officer, failure to comply with a probation order, and uttering threats. He was held in custody until Monday’s bail appearance.
