St. Michael Catholic High School has once again taken a slight downward slide in the Fraser Institute rankings but the school is still number one in Leeds Grenville, with a score of 8.5 out of 10. Last year they scored 8.8. In 2009 they earned an impressive 9.6 in the rankings of math and literacy skills, placing them second in the province overall.
Over the past decade St. Mike’s has scored a perfect 10 three times. This year’s score has St. Mike’s in an 8-way tie for 29th place out of 749 public, Catholic and private schools across Ontario. North Grenville District High School, scoring 7.5 out of 10, is number 2 in Leeds Grenville.
