Excavation work is underway as progress continues to be made on the Community Garden Project in Augusta Township.
Officials say their vision of an exciting community space is one step closer to reality and they are extending their sincere thanks to their community partners along with others involved.
As excavation continues and pathways between the garden beds are installed and compacted, they are asking residents to please stay clear of the area for safety reasons and allow the work to be completed efficiently.
They add they are looking forward to sharing more updates on the garden.
The project, they say, has been made possible through their partnership with and funding from Community Futures Grenville.
More updates are expected in the coming weeks.
