Noseworthy remembered for generosity of spirit, collaborative leadership, unwavering dedication to community

North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford has praised the lifelong contributions of Robert Noseworthy, a local resident she described as a community leader and generous volunteer.

Noseworthy, who died earlier this month, was co-founder, owner and CEO of Westerra Homes and Developments.

He received the Hal Anthony Citizen of the Year Award from the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor’s Commendation Civic Award from the Municipality of North Grenville and Ambassador of the Year from the North Grenville Economic Development Committee.

Peckford said on social media today that Noseworthy gave an “extraordinary amount of time and energy to community service, motivated by a genuine belief in giving back and building a stronger, more caring community.”

He also served on the North Grenville Economic Development Committee and was chair of the North Grenville Home Builders Association.

Peckford said Noseworthy will be remembered for generosity of spirit, collaborative leadership, and unwavering dedication to community.
