Grade 1 student named overall winner in North Grenville’s 2025 Holiday Card Design Contest

A local Grade 1 student is the overall winner in North Grenville’s 2025 Holiday Card Design Contest.

After thoughtful review, officials say that one standout design was selected to appear on the municipality’s official holiday messaging, highlighting the creativity and imagination of the community’s young artists.

They say six-year-old Hedda Amalie O’Reinhart’s festive and imaginative artwork captured the attention of Mayor Nancy Peckford and municipal staff, and her design will be shared with the community throughout the holiday season.

The contest was open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in North Grenville.

The winning artwork will be featured on the municipality’s website and social media cover photos, helping spread seasonal cheer throughout the community.
