The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario celebrated the Bravo Breakfast Awards Wednesday morning in Smiths Falls. One student from each elementary and secondary school is chosen to receive this award annually, which acknowledges the unsung heroes within local Catholic schools. Darren Cleroux, a Grade 5 student at Holy Cross in Kemptville was one of the local students recognized for his contributions to school and community, along with Grade 8 student Marc Legere and Grade 9 student Dominic Astorino, both of St. Michael Catholic High School.
