Local municipalities are seeing an increase in the amount of Ontario Municipal Partnership Funding they are receiving.
Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says the historic investment represents an 8 per cent increase to local municipalities over 2025.
The Municipality of North Grenville will get $1.27 million, an increase of over $114,000.
Clark says the funding will ensure Ontario continues to do its part to help keep costs down for municipal taxpayers while providing municipalities the resources they need to attract new investment.
The OMPH is the province’s main general assistance grant to municipalities.
