73’s Wrap: Kemptville earns point in overtime ahead of two game week

The Kemptville 73’s earned a point over the weekend ahead of a two game week.

It started on Friday night when the 73’s fell 2-1 to the Navan Grads at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

Sydney Loreto had the lone goal for Kemptville in the loss.

Then on Sunday afternoon, Kemptville and Smiths Falls went to overtime but it was the Bears who skated away with a 4-3 victory.

Last week, Kemptville defeated Smiths Falls 7-5 at home on Wednesday night.

The 73’s are tied for tenth in the Central Canada Hockey League with a record of 7GP-2W-4L-1 Overtime Loss-5 Points.

Kemptville next plays on Wednesday night when the Smiths Falls Bears come back to town.

The 73’s then make their first trip of the season to Hawkesbury on Friday evening to tangle with the Hawks.
