Busy AMO Conference for Edwardsburgh Cardinal Township

Edwardsburgh Cardinal Township Council says they shared priorities, sought support, and strengthened partnerships at this weeks Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.

Over three days in Ottawa, council members and senior staff say they met with Hydro One, the Independent Electricity System Operator, and several provincial ministries including energy and mines, infrastructure, transportation, environment, health, and finance.

They say they also connected with neighbouring municipalities including the Municipality of South Dundas and Augusta Township and reinforced the value of regional collaboration.

AMO, they add, allowed them to advance key files and keep community priorities top of mind at Queen’s Park.

The conference was held from Sunday to Wednesday.
