It’s full steam ahead when it comes to the County Road 43 expansion project in Kemptville.
The third in a series of public meetings on the largest capital road project in North Grenville’s history is planned for Tuesday night at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
Organizers say you’ll gain insight into the scope and timeline of the project, understand the benefit and potential impacts of the expansion and you’ll be able to ask questions directly to project managers.
North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford tells Moose FM that she hears many of the same questions from residents.
“Where things stand with the project, what’s coming in the next six months. I think you can see we have one roundabout nearly complete and another one underway at County Road 43 and County Road 44.”
The meeting runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and it can also be watched live online.
The full project will see a two-kilometre stretch of County Road 43, spanning from Colonnade Drive to County Road 44, widened to four lanes.
