Spencerville has a new place to head if you’re looking to get active.
The town’s new all-season recreation pad is now open.
Located adjacent to the Spencerville Area at 22 Sloan Street, officials say it will host basketball and more in the summer.
In the winter, skating and hockey will take over.
Officials say the pad also recognizes a major milestone, 35 years of service by the Spencerville and District Optimist Club.
As a volunteer-run organization, their mission is clear and inspiring: “Bringing Out the Best in Kids.”
