Summer is here and so are a number of road work projects in the area.
The Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal is currently replacing the asphalt sidewalk along County Road 2 in Cardinal, starting east from St. Lawrence Street.
Lloyd McMillan Equipment Limited is removing the existing sidewalk and during the week of July 22 Black Tar Construction will install the new asphalt surface.
You’re asked to please avoid parking on or near the sidewalk path during construction and to avoid driving over the new sidewalk for 24 hours after paving.
Driveway transitions will be smoothed, and lawn areas will be restored in August.
The project does not include private driveways however, residents interested in having driveway work done can contact Black Tar Construction.
