A 40-year-old motorcycle rider is dead and an investigation is underway after a collision over the weekend.
Police say they responded after the motorcycle collided with an ATV that was parked on County Road 11, southeast of Chesterville, just after 10 p.m. Friday.
Officers reported that the motorcycle was travelling eastbound when it hit the ATV and a passerby performed CPR until paramedics arrived with the male pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as a male who had been staying in the North Grenville area and his family has been notified.
