The Ottawa Redblacks are hoping you will help them tackle hunger.
This is National Capital Amateur Football Association Championship Weekend and the Redblacks and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group Foundation are hoping to collecting donations for the Ottawa Food Bank in support of Purolator Tackle Hunger campaign.
The goal this season is to fundraise a minimum of 7,000 pounds of food and a Purolator truck will be set up at the Kemptville Campus Football Field on Saturday to pick up dontations.
You can drop yours off from noon to 3 p.m.
The most needed non-perishable items include rice, pasta, canned fruit and vegetables and canned salmon.
