A driver will be walking for a while after Grenville County OPP impounded their vehicle.
Police say they were conducting proactive speed enforcement on Highway 416 around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and they say they found the vehicle speeding at 160 km/h.
The driver was charged and the driver’s licence was seized, with their vehicle towed and impounded.
Speeds like this are dangerous, police say, adding they put other road users at risk.
They say speed-related collisions are entirely avoidable.
