Police have now charged a driver in a fatal collision last year near Winchester.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP say the crash involved a car and a motorcycle and happened on Bank Street (County Road 31) near Cloverdale Road on Sept. 13.
Both vehicles were travelling northbound and the motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Winchester man, was transported to a local hospital and then to a regional trauma centre by ORNGE Air Ambulance.
He was pronounced deceased in hospital shortly before 6 p.m. that evening while the driver of the car was not physically injured.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the car, a 35-year-old Brinston man, has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.
