Downtown Cardinal will be the scene of some upcoming work.
Municipal officials say starting next week, Jewell Engineering and sub-contractors will be conducting periodic survey work and infrastructure assessments in the area.
Work will be taking place along Dundas Street (County Road 22) between County Road 2 and Bridge Street and side streets including Henry Street, William Street, West Street, and Canal Street.
Officials say the work is part of the planning process for future roadway rehabilitation.
You may notice crews working on sidewalks, boulevards, and road shoulders from time to time.
