Kemptville Campus continues to be a hub of activity.
This week, the International Model Forest Network is hosting its 2025 Global Forum at the campus with over 200 delegates on hand representing over 60 Model Forests, a fully working landscape of forests, farms, protected areas, rivers and towns, from around the world.
The Ontario Woodlot Association, a non-profit organization who has its head office at the campus and supports woodlot owners with sustainable woodlot management practices, organized the forum and is also hosting its own conference at the same time.
Incoming OWA Executive Director Glen Prevost tells Moose FM that they love everything the campus has to offer for events like theirs.
“The staff here have been fantastic, the catering out of the campus has been phenomenal, the campus itself is beautiful and wonderful to show off.”
The events all wrap up on Friday.
