North Grenville will be showing it’s pride this Sunday.
NG Pride is inviting everyone to come together in love, solidarity and celebration for their Pride Parade in Kemptville.
It kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Park and afterwards there will be events at Kemptville Campus starting at noon.
The festivities will include music, community, activities, and connection.
NG Pride Coordinator Diane Dewing tells Moose FM that groups from across the community are coming together to celebrate.
“Girl guides, and we have the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, we have medical people, dance groups in many different capacities, the OPP will be there.”
Melissa Button , the founder of the North Grenville Rainbow Youth Alliance, tells Moose FM that excitement is building.
“We have a float in the parade, we’ll be up near the front and we have kind of a hay wagon, it will be decorated to the nines.”
Sunday marks the beginning of Pride Month.
