The early steps are being taken to update North Grenville’s official plan.
At their regular meeting on Wednesday night, North Grenville council voted to award a contract to update the plan to Dillon Consulting.
They were one of seven proposals submitted to the municipality for the work with each reviewed by staff and scored on technical submission requirements.
Companies that scored a minimum of 60 points on the technical side had their financial components considered and ultimately Dillon was awarded the contract for $110,591.25.
It’s expected it will be around a year before an official updated plan is presented to council.
