One of eastern Ontario’s largest indoor garage sales is coming up early next month in Kemptville.
Hey Day is scheduled for June 6 and 7 at the North Grenville Municipal Centre and all proceeds are once again going to the Kemptville District Hospital.
The sale is organized by the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary and, last year, a record-setting $55,000 was raised and helped purchase a CT Scanner for KDH which is now in use.
This year, donations are being accepted from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wed. June 4 and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thurs. June 5.
Hey Day Chair Jean Gallant tells Moose FM that the event really showcases our community.
“People in Kemptville are just amazing, and all around of course, right now we have 291 volunteers who are signed up to help out, it takes a small army.”
