Fewer trips being made into the U.S.

Fewer trips are being made south of the border.

New data released by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveals there were 15,200 trips into Ogdensburg, New York at the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge last month.

That is compared to 21,100 trips during the same time frame in 2024.

According to statistics, 26,000 people entered the U.S. at Ogdensburg from our province in April.

It comes amid a tariff war set off by U.S. President Donald Trump and Canadians choosing other options for their holidays.
