It is a free two-day celebration of street performance in the heart of downtown Kemptville.
Kemptville Buskerfest is taking place this weekend and it starts on Friday night with the pre-show event at the North Grenville Curling Club from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Then, on Saturday, there will be professional buskers performing in downtown Kemptville from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with vendors and food trucks also open for business.
Programming Chair Herb Cloutier tells Moose FM that the event brought just under 8,000 people out last year with more expected this weekend.
“We`re bringing a lot of tourism and a lot of people to the downtown core of Kemptville which really showcases a lot of the downtown businesses as well as North Grenville.”
There will be free parking and shuttles from the North Grenville Municipal Centre in place for the festival.
