The Kemptville 73’s are already building for next season.
Coming off a campaign that saw the team make the playoffs after missing out the previous two campaigns, their annual prospects camp is taking place this weekend at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
Head Coach Shawn Fensel says it’s the first time the team will see its recent draftees, free agents and returning players on the ice together and adds the weekend will be made up of practices and intersquad scrimmages.
Fensel tells Moose FM it’s an exciting weekend for followers of the team.
“Give our fans the first glimpse in our own rink at the future and future players and potential players for next season and beyond that.”
Fensel adds it will be the first time he will be seeing some of the players in person.
