There’s a mix of weather in store for eastern Ontario this Easter long weekend.
Environment Canada is calling for showers to move into the area on Friday afternoon with a chance of thunderstorms lasting into Saturday.
Easter Sunday, however, is shaping up to be a beautiful day with a mix of sun and clouds and a high 11 degrees followed by more of the same on Monday.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson tells Moose FM that the forecast is in line with what we’ve been seeing lately.
“Overall the trend temperature wise has been seasonal or somewhat cooler than seasonal. We have had a few days here and there where temperatures have bumped up into the mid to high teens but those have been few and far between.”
The forecast is calling for more showers in the region next Tuesday.
