It’s shaping up to be another busy summer in Merrickville.
It kicks off in late April with the Merrickville Heritage Classic Run with the Community Garage Sale and then the Wooden Horse Show.
The 113th Eastern Ontario Firefighter Games are scheduled for the the weekend of June 13, 14 and 15 in the village and then Canada Day will be celebrated on July 1.
With so many visitors expected, Merrickville Mayor Michael Cameron tells Moose FM that they are looking at the idea of bringing in a community ambassador to help oversee things.
“You have a village that is overpacked with people coming in for visits, we have garbage to manage and we have other situations that arise.”
You can find a full list of events on the Merrickville Chamber of Commerce website.
