Edwardsburgh Cardinal says its 2025 municipal budget reaffirms its commitment to responsible planning, infrastructure renewal, and improving the quality of life for residents.
Council recently signed off on the 2025 budget and with the township seeing an increase of 3%, along with the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville increasing its tax rate to 5.11%, results in an overall blended rate of 3.34%.
Mayor Tory Deschamps says in a media release that “these rates ensure that we continue to provide essential services while investing in key projects that drive growth and improve the quality of life for our residents.”
On the capital side, the township has approved $4.47 million in investments, fully funded through taxation, reserves, and grant support.
Officials say the capital plan emphasizes essential infrastructure, community amenities, and public service improvements.
