Having access to your health records with just a few clicks.
Officials say that’s the idea behind Atlas Alliance’s digital health records system which, they say, will give sixteen partner organizations access to the information.
The Kemptville District Hospital has been a part of Atlas since 2022 and is now welcoming six new partners including Arnprior Regional Health, Queensway Carleton Hospital and The Royal Ottawa and Brockville campuses.
A media release says the participating hospitals will be able to securely store, access and share patient health information which will allow for more seamless patient care throughout the community.
Patients visiting the providers will also be able to access their own health records through an online portal.
