North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford excited to host U18AAA Central Regional Championship

North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford says the U18AAA Central Regional Championship is a wonderful way to feature Kemptville.

The tournament is taking place this week at the North Grenville Municipal Centre bringing together the top teams in their category from several leagues in Ontario.

The winning team moves on to play at the 2025 Telus Cup in British Columbia.

Peckford says they are thrilled to be the host community for the games.

“I know lots of work has gone into getting this tournament ready and ensuring our community’s prepared, I think it will be a very memorable hockey occasion for anyone that comes out.”
