If you’re interested in having a say on healthcare in North Grenville, this might be the opportunity for you.
The Kemptville District Hospital Board of Directors is looking to fill as many as four volunteer director positions with a start date of this June.
KDH is governed by a board of directors, which includes 12 to 16 unpaid members-at-large with these volunteer directors having diverse backgrounds and bringing a variety of skills and areas of expertise.
A board member can expect to spend a minimum of 10 to 12 hours per month attending meetings and performing committee work.
KDH Board Chair Jeff Nolan tells Moose FM that there is great value in volunteering.
“When you’re part of the community and you’re part of helping with solutions versus just complaining about problems, you have a sense that you’re actually supporting not just yourself but others.”
If you’re interested, you’re asked to apply by Apr. 11 on the KDH website.
