The Kemptville 73’s season has come to an end.
The Carleton Place Canadians defeated Kemptville 4-3 in Game 4 of their best-of-seven first round playoff series at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on Tuesday night.
With the win, Carleton Place was able to close out their sweep over Kemptville and move on to the next round.
It remains to be seen just who Carleton Place will play in the next round.
Kemptville finished the regular season with 58 points and made the playoffs after missing out the last two seasons, each by a single point.
