The new executive director of the Old Town Kemptville Business Improvement Area says she’s hoping there will be more collaboration between area businesses.
Talia Hreljac was recently hired to take over the position and she says with everything going on in the world, we really need to build our village.
She says that can start with the downtown core and the BIA.
Hreljac says businesses are dealing with a hard time right now and we need to do our part and shop local.

“If you can grab one thing from a local toy store, if you can grab one thing from the local grocery store, every dollar that gets spent goes back into the community.”
Hreljac says she brings administrative and events planning experience with her to her new position.
